 1) Summary

This article contains the impact of the globalization of culture on the world, and begins with a story about the connection of globalization. It is important to understand globalization as a process of increasing global connectivity, but to do so, the global dominance of the capitalist system must also be known.
In addition, the general speculation in the process of globalization is that a single global culture will continue through globalization, which is defined as an uneven process because it is difficult for the effects of globalization to spread all over the planet. Meanwhile, among some Western critics, there has been a tendency to think that Western culture is a global culture that encompasses everything, which has led to anti-Western sentiment. This unfair trend of universalization was not limited to the Chinese worldview or pre-modern culture. For example, although Marx was a staunch internationalist, his view of culture was based on European tradition.
Talk of de-territorialization was also mentioned. This means the loss of the natural relationship of culture to the geographic and social domains, resulting in that the culture produced by locality is not the most important single element in reality. This will also be affected by the remote mediaization of culture, allowing people to provide a wider cultural horizon.
Finally, this article says that the dilemma of universal human rights and cultural differences must be overcome through cultural identity. Cultural identity refers to the way we categorize, organize, and regulate cultural practices, expressions and imaginations used in things like existential conditions, personal relationships.
