In the given link, the KOF Globalization Index, an index of globalization at the economic, social, and political levels, could be identified. According to the KOF Globalization Index, Korea showed 30.57 and China 21.13.

The overall figure of the globalization index shows a graph that has gradually increased since 1970. However, it is also possible to grasp the trend that has remained intact from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic since 2020.



3. When do you think globalization started?


I think globalization began in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when industrialization began to spread worldwide. During that period, various technologies developed and international trade and financial markets were integrated, and the global economy began to be connected. 

In addition, after the World War, international organizations were established, and various international agreements promoted cooperation among countries around the world, and globalization began to accelerate. I think that information technology has advanced, people from all over the world can share information and communicate more quickly, and globalization has been deepened.
