Blog assignment 4(economic globalization)——ZHANG YUEXI

1. SUMMARY 

Through reading materials, I learned that the core of economic globalization is commercial companies, especially transnational commercial companies.It can be said that transnational corporations have been promoting and shaping the development of economic globalization. 

Multinational companies generally invest in assets and markets separately, and at the same time realize transnational corporations through green investment and mergers and acquisitions. Multinational companies have also gained a dominant position in the domestic market before they began to enter the overseas market. Transnational corporations have established complex supply chains and production networks on a global scale, realizing the transnational allocation of production factors. The liberalization of capital flow has promoted the development of the global economy to a certain extent, but it has also brought new challenges to the obvious gap between the rich and the poor.

Economic and Globalization

1. Economic globalization has led to the rise of multinational corporations, which have established production and supply chain networks on a global scale. These companies decentralize production between different countries to gain lower production costs and wider markets. 
2. Economic globalization has also deepened the linkages of international financial markets. Money on a global scale can move more easily between financial markets in different countries, affecting currency exchange rates, interest rates and the stability of the international financial system.

2.A new and interesting item

THE EMBEDDEDNESS OF TRANSNATIONAL CORPORATIONS is a new realization for me.

In the process of multinational site selection, the company will consider whether the location and geography of the location to be selected are helpful to the production mode and behavior mode of the enterpriseThe location of the company is related to its development characteristics and geographical characteristics.

3.Question discussion

As far as I know, in addition to multinational corporations, international trade and capital flow also have an impact on economic globalization. I don't know what specific concepts there will be from these two aspects.

 Q1. How could a fusion culture look in 100 years? A1.  Globalization is accelerating further with advances in technology. The boundaries between countries will be blurred, and the development of technology will reduce language barriers between countries, leading to more cultural exchanges.
