Extra credit reading (China and globalization)——ZHANG LINYUE

 Is globalization good for China?

I think globalization is beneficial for China. Taking economic globalization as an example, as a developing country, China has increased its attractiveness to foreign investment in the process of economic globalization. Numerous multinational corporations have established cooperative relationships on Chinese soil. Such an economic structure plays a crucial role in regulating the distribution of China's productivity. It not only provides economic support for China's modernization construction but also facilitates the learning of advanced technologies and experiences from foreign countries, contributing to the betterment of modernization construction.

  Is China good for globalization?

Of course. I think China contributes to globalization. Taking economic globalization as an example, its core purpose is straightforward: to facilitate the free flow of goods, capital, services, and technology globally, unhindered by artificial barriers. China officially joined the World Trade Organization on December 11, 2001, gradually becoming the world's factory with its manufactured products distributed globally. Moreover, to promote economic globalization, China introduced the 'Belt and Road Initiative' in 2013, transforming it into an international public good and a platform for international cooperation.
