Online blog writing assignment 3 /What is the relation between politics and globalization ZHANG ZEHUA

Globalization is an organization that spans national boundaries, time and space, is multi-dimensional, accelerated, and interconnected. Insofar as political globalization is concerned, it involves an approach to the social world that emphasizes postnational and transnational processes, as well as an awareness of the compressed nature of space and time.

One of the most pervasive forms of political globalization is the spread of democracy based on parliamentary nation-states around the world. Democratic government exists in some form in most places, and where it does not exist, such as China, there is considerable demand for democratic government from democratic movements. This is a kind of globalization based on geography, largely limited to the political form of the nation-state. It has both traditional forms and constitutes a new type of global geopolitics.

Globalization has had a profound impact on politics. First, globalization has increased the complexity and uncertainty of international politics. Countries are more closely connected and international affairs are more complex, requiring more coordination and cooperation. Secondly, globalization has triggered new political issues such as international environmental protection, global wealth gap, and network security. These problems require joint efforts by all countries to resolve.

Globalization has changed the international political landscape. Globalization has changed the balance of power between strong and weak countries. The growth of economic strength has enabled some emerging countries such as China and India to emerge on the international stage. Globalization has also strengthened the role of international organizations and multilateralism. International organizations have become an important platform for coordinating national actions and dealing with global issues.

But political globalization has also given rise to a new set of tensions around which politics is now structured. Where previously the main political conflicts centered on class divisions, schisms between state and civil society, traditional and industrial economies, or resistance to imperial rule, now complementary debates have emerged around a range of changing concerns: difference rights, individuals and communities, liberal democracy and cosmopolitanism. Indeed, political globalization has created the possibility for a proliferation of sites of political conflict around an expanded set of concerns: governance, identity, mobility and communities prominent among them.

For example, the Snowden incident in the United States has triggered widespread discussions around the world about personal privacy rights.
