Extra Credit Blog: China and Globalization - Sarang Yoon

"Is globalization good for China? And is China good for globalization?"

I think that globalization has not only had a good effect on China but that China has a positive effect on globalization. China has strengthened its industry through globalization. It made good use of cheap labor and a wide market.

Many countries worldwide operate factories in China or utilize China's labor force. Also, because of China's large population, there are many cases of exporting to China. According to the "2021 Global BrandZ" survey conducted by global market research firm Kantar, 17 out of the top 100 global brands are Chinese brands. Tencent and Alibaba rounded out the top 10. In particular, various Chinese brands are spreading in countries such as Korea and the United States.

As can be seen from the article 'https://www.economist.com/china/2016/12/10/china-has-gained-hugely-from-globalization' ', globalization has stabilized China's market and allowed workers to live a better life.

In other words, globalization has not only positively affected China, but other countries are also utilizing China's various technologies and labor forces through globalization. In addition, China is dramatically developing manufacturing technology based on OEM business with key global companies.
